1) Go to http://www.stampyourdocuments.com/
|

2) Click on "Log In."
|
 |
3) Enter the User Name and Password you
chose when you signed up. If the page says
"You are already logged in," click
on the "here" link to visit the
Member's Area.
|
 |
4) Click on "Download Software."
|
 |
5) Click on "Windows Installer (.exe
file)."
|
 |
6) Click on "Run."
|
 |
7) Wait for the software to fully download.
|
 |
8) Click "Run" again.
|
 |
9) Click "Next."
|
 |
10) If you agree to the terms, click the
button next to "I accept the agreement,"
and then click "Next."
|
 |
11) Click "Next" unless you wish
to install Stamp Your Documents in a different
folder.
|
 |
12) Click "Next."
Note:
We strongly recommend that you leave all three
checkboxes checked.
-The "Word Addin" checkbox will
install the Word "S" Icon as seen
in Step 22 below. It can
be installed even if you don't have Microsoft
Word (though it won't be visible until you
install Word).
-The "Shell extensions" checkbox
allows you to Stamp Your Documents by right
clicking on the files (as seen in Step .
-The "File associations" checkbox
allows you to more easily recover the Stamped
Documents which are archived on your computer
after being stamped.

13) Click "Next," unless you wish
to change the Start Menu shortcut group name
(which is the name you see in Step
19.)

 |
14) Click "Next," unless you wish
to create a Desktop Icon that links to the
Stamp Your Documents Configuration Program
(in which case, check the box.)

 |
15) Click "Install."
|
 |
16) Click "Finish." We strongly
recommend that you leave the box checked.
|
 |
17) The Client Console (also known as "Configure
Stamp Your Documents") should appear.
Enter the User Name and Password that you
selected when you signed up, then click "Verify."
This is the same User Name and Password that
you used to log into www.stampyourdocuments.com.
If the Client Console did not appear for any
reason, skip ahead to Step 19.

18) If you entered the correct password,
a checkmark in a green circle will appear
next to your password. If you see this green
checkmark, you can close the Client Console
by clicking the red "X" in the upper
right. Stamp Your Documents is now fully configured,
and you are ready to Stamp Your Documents.
You can skip ahead

19) If for some reason the Client Console
did not appear, or you need to change your
User Name or Password at some later date,
you can do so by clicking "Start,"
then "All Programs," then "Stamp
Your Documents," then "Configure
Stamp Your Documents." You will get the
same screen as seen in Step
17.

20) You can Stamp any file by right-clicking
on it, and then clicking "Stamp Your
Document."
|
 |
21) If you are connected to the Internet,
you should see a message that indicates your
document's stamp was recorded with StampYourDocuments.com
server. If you are not connected to the Internet,
the Stamp Your Document's software will save
the stamp, and attempt to re-send it.

22) You can Stamp any Microsoft Word Document
by clicking the red "S" icon. If
you installed Microsoft Word Vista, see Step
24.

23) If you are connected to the Internet,
you should see a message that indicates your
document's stamp was recorded with StampYourDocuments.com
server. If you are not connected to the Internet,
the Stamp Your Document's software will save
the stamp, and attempt to re-send it.

24) In Microsoft Word Vista, the "S"
icon is under the "Add-Ins" toolbar.
Click on the "Add-Ins" label near
the top-center.
